David Palmerton, Jr.
CEO and Founder

The Palmerton Group, LLC was formed in March 2002 by David L. Palmerton, Jr. following his successful tenure as vice president and partner at Blasland, Bouck and Lee, Inc. (now ARCADIS), in Syracuse, New York. From the very beginning, David Palmerton worked relentlessly to provide a first class high quality environmental consulting service. We help our clients solve their most difficult environmental issues and challenges in a timely and efficient way.

  • We are about trust-based relationships
  • We are about finding innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients
  • We are about people who care

Mr. Palmerton has been delivering environmental solutions to clients for more than 23 years. Prior to entering the environmental field, he worked in the natural gas drilling industry for seven years. With Ecology & Environment, he managed a variety of projects for the natural gas pipeline industry. He brings lessons learned from a wide variety of environmental projects, having served small-business owners as well as Fortune 100 companies.

The firm's founder has worked on many of the largest environmental projects in the United States, including the Kalamazoo River Superfund Site, the General Electric Pittsfield Plant and Housatonic River sites, and the Lower Fox River Site in Wisconsin.

Initially, Mr. Palmerton focused on important environmental and human health litigation support cases while managing the typical environmental assessment, environmental compliance, and environmental remediation cases. Our staff has been expanded to include expertise in environmental engineering, groundwater studies, and oil and gas field environmental services.
